NATIONAL PROTECTION: The species is not protected in Indonesia

THREATS: Forest clearings are known; depending on the species’ life habits, the continuous fragmentation of existing forest areas can severely decimate the species

RESEARCH NEEDS: Confirmation of the type locality is urged; re-assessment of the species distribution; re-evaluation of the supposedly known range; if the actual distribution of the species can be narrowed down, population surveys are essential, as well as the study of ecological parameters specific to the species and therein the degree of current threats that can impact on populations
